The Rarest Supercars on Earth – The rarer a car is produced, the more valuable it is. Supercars are no exception. And did you know what are the rarest supercars in the world and how many were ever sold to the public? Let’s chek it out!

  1. Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina

The P4/5, a one-off supercar built by Pininfarina, Italian design house, and commissioned by James Glickenhaus. Effectively a rebodied Enzo, the Italian creation drew inspiration from Glickenhaus’ own Ferrari 330 P3/4 and is said to have cost $4m to build. Using a 6 speed semi-automatic transmission and carrying a Ferrari F140B V12 engine, the Ferrari P4/5 is capable of going from 0-62 mph in 3.0 seconds and has a top speed of 233 mph.

Carrying 740 HP 6.5 L V12 engine, the Lamborghini Veneno was built as a 50th anniversary gift to the Italian supercar manufacturer. Only five examples of the Veneno were made in which one was for factory testing, one was kept for itself and three were sold to public. This €3,120,000 super car has an electronically limited top speed of 220 mph, and run from 0–60 mph in 2.8 seconds.

The Zonda Revolucion powered with a 6.0-liter V12 which generates 800 horse power and 538 pound-feet of torque and enough aerodynamic elements which enable it to change an LMP1 car look slightly limp is not usually built in great numbers. There were only five units ever produced. With a sequential gearbox allowing it to take only 20 milliseconds to shift gears this super rare car is actually remarkable. Moreover, it can accelerate from 0-60 mph in a flash seconds of 2.6 and may reach the fastest speed of 217 mph.

With only 30 models produced, the Ferrari FXX has sat itself as one of the rarest cars in the world. Packed with a 789 horsepower and 506 pound-feet of torque generated from the 6.3 L F140 V12 engine and completed with 6-speed semi-automatic transmission, this FXX can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 2.5 seconds and reach its top speed of 214 mph. it is not easy to own the limited quantities of Ferrari FXX but it has been such a popular car as it also followed it up with the even more exclusive, 850-horsepower FXX Evoluzione which is still considered as the fastest car Ferrari has ever released running to its 250 mph top speed.

The Porsche 911 GTI is a 90s supercar which has only 41 models built consisting of 18 race cars and 23 road cars. Featuring a twin-turbocharged 3.2-liter flat-6 engine generating over 600 horsepower, the 911 GTI had won and dominated the Canadian GT Championship from 1999 to 2001 and also performed well at Sebring. Its powerful engine is mounted behind the cabin and is featured with a 5-speed manual transmission to spin the rear wheel.

The CLK GTR is Mercedes-Benz’s street legal Le Mans GT1 car. The GTR is powered by an absolutely superb 604hp 6.9-liter V12 engine and could do 199 mph. There were only twenty coupes and six roadsters ever built between ’98 and ’99 with a 6-speed sequential manual in each.

Introduced in 2014, there are only seven examples, including one prototype, were built during 2014 and 2015. Its name was gained from the Koenigsegg’s quickest ever model boasting one metric horsepower for every one kilogram of weight. Powered by a twin-turbo V8 pumps out 1340hp, it can perform and accelerate from 0-400 km/h in approximately 20 seconds and a top speed of 275 mph.

The Sesto Elemento was a car with an odd-firing 5.2 L FSI V10 570HP engine which has only 20 units exist. It’s another carbon fiber-obsessed creation which weighs only 999kg. With an all-wheel-drive traction means it’ll hit 62 mph in just 2.5 seconds.

The Venom GT is powered by a twin turbo 7.0 Liter V8 engine producing 1,451 bhp.  It has already been sold at the price of $1.2 millon US Dollars. The Venom GT is coated with mental. Hennessey’s horrible performance is capable of accelerating on its top speed of 270 mph which is supported by superb engine which is hooked up to a six-speed manual transmission with rear-wheel drive. Only eleven of 29 planned have been produced and sold.
